We begin taking the mystery out of learning medical language by introducing you to the origins of medical terms and the four word parts used to form many of them.

For ease of learning medical terms in this course, they are presented in two categories:

  1. terms built from word parts
  2. terms NOT built from word parts

Read the content and complete the exercises. (pp.1-5)
