The terms you will learn for this topic are NOT built from word parts but are terms from modern language and other origins.

Diabetes is a term you probably already have in your medical vocabulary. You will learn that the type of diabetes most are familiar with is diabetes mellitus. There is also a diabetes insipidus. It is uncommon, and the two diseases are unrelated.

Read the content and complete the exercises. (pp. 386-390)
