Read the case study, objectives, and introduction to the digestive system. (pp. 231-234)

You will learn word parts related to the digestive system and the terms built from them. You are probably familiar with gastritis – gastr is the word root for the stomach. You will see gastr used in many other medical terms, such as gastritis and gastroenterologist.

Read the content and complete the Exercises. (pp. 234-254)
